Top High-Rated Anime Lineup
During the week from October 19 to 25, 'The Apothecary Diaries' captured a 3.5% viewership rating and has become the center of attention in the Japanese anime scene. Notably, this program airs at a relatively late hour of 23:00 on Fridays, rather than during prime time, which highlights its popularity.
Familiar Popular Series at Tied Second Place
'Vermillion Mask' and 'Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Arc' both recorded a 2.9% viewership rating, tying for second place in this week's rankings. In particular, 'Dragon Ball Super' has been popular worldwide for many years, and its latest arc continues to attract a large audience.
Weekend Viewing Habits Influence Rankings
In this ranking, many of the top-ranked shows were those broadcasted on Saturdays and Sundays. Programs like 'Detective Conan,' 'Sazae-san,' and 'Chibi Maruko-chan,' which can be watched with family and friends over the weekend, have achieved high viewership ratings. These shows boast longstanding, dedicated fanbases and stable popularity.
Additionally, it is noteworthy that the viewership ratings are based on a survey targeting households in the Kanto region, excluding recorded viewings. This allows for a more accurate reflection of the habits of those watching programs in real-time.
