'Castlevania: Belmont's Curse' has been announced as the latest entry in Konami's popular 'Castlevania' series. This new addition marks the first entirely new installment since 'Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2', and players will face off against monsters in the setting of 15th-century Paris.

The released 'Bloody Tears' trailer, true to its name, resonates with the series' iconic music and leaves a strong impression of the new game's world. Players become the protagonist who controls the sacred whip known as the Vampire Killer and confronts the monsters attacking Paris, as well as a mysterious castle. Both returning fans and new players are required to use various weapons and spells in exploration and combat.
Notable Cast and Development Team
The voice cast boasts a stellar lineup including Abby Trott as Rose Belmont, JB Blanc as Trevor Belmont, and Alejandra Reynoso reprising her role as Sypha Belnades from the anime series. The game is developed by Evil Empire, the sister studio of 'Dead Cells', with Motion Twin as the advisory studio.
The game is set to be released following the 'Castlevania Dominus Collection' which came out in August 2024.
