New Illustrator: Megumi Dorokawa

On September 1, it was announced by Yone on X (formerly Twitter) that Megumi Dorokawa will take over as the illustrator for 'Fake It to Break It!'. This change will begin from chapter 17, to be released on September 10. Dorokawa, known for works like 'Share House Nile', will bring a fresh perspective to the series.

The Story of 'Fake It to Break It!'

This manga revolves around the engagement between Viola, the daughter of a viscount, and Philip Laurenson, the heir to a duchy. In her attempt to break the engagement, Viola pretends to have amnesia after a small accident. However, to her surprise, Philip begins to describe how much she loved him before, with his reaction greatly exceeding Viola's expectations. Thus begins a new romance between the inexperienced noble and the indifferent young woman.

Background and Impact of the Series

Originally launched in 2022 by Yone and Kotoko on Square Enix's Manga UP! service, 'Fake It to Break It!' is also available in English through Manga UP!
