Ironmouse Appears as a Sprite in Fortnite

Epic Games has announced that popular VTuber Ironmouse is joining the Fortnite battle royale game. She will appear not as a player cosmetic but as a collectible sprite in the game's Chapter 7 Season 3 'Runners'. Announced on Fortnite's official X account, equipping this sprite seems to grant players special abilities. The sprite will be increasingly available from Tuesday at 9 PM Eastern Standard Time and will return to its usual spawn rate from Wednesday at 3 AM.

Bleach Collaboration Also Announced

Fortnite has also announced a new collaboration with characters from 'BLEACH'. New player cosmetics modeled after Kisuke Urahara and Yoruichi Shihouin will be available in the in-game store starting Friday. This collaboration follows the 'BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Arc' event held in December 2025, which featured Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryuu Ishida, and Orihime Inoue.

Bug and Response

Shortly after the sprite's appearance, Epic Games investigated an issue where the Ironmouse sprite was not being awarded to players after extracting from matches. Consequently, Epic Games temporarily removed the sprite from the loot pool. This issue is now resolved, and Epic Games announced that 'players who did not receive extracted sprites will be distributed them within the coming days.'

A Glimpse into Her Virtual Career

Ironmouse began her VTuber career in 2017 and joined the now-defunct VShojo in 2020. She left the agency in July 2025 due to charity donation issues, followed by many talents, which led to the closure of VShojo.
