Digital manga publisher Omoi revealed during a panel discussion at Anime NYC that it has acquired the English license for the work 'Tabi wa Amai Mono' by Momoshiro and Tomoko Mitsuki. This manga began on Bungeishunju's Seasons manga website in 2023 and concluded in February 2026.
Tabi wa Amai Mono: The Beginning of a New Journey
'Tabi wa Amai Mono' is a story about Suzune, who is about to turn 30 when she is told by her boyfriend that he has been cheating on her for three years. In the depths of despair, she sets off on a journey to Miyazaki Prefecture for emotional cleansing, where she meets a young novelist named Yujin, who is struggling with writer's block. Their meeting at a drinking party becomes the catalyst for a new journey.
This romantic travel story is set in real locations across Japan. The story is penned by Momoshiro, with illustrations by Mitsuki.
Addition of New Titan Titles
Additionally, Omoi announced the addition of 45 new titles from Titan Manga. Titles such as 'SANDA,' 'Record Journey,' and 'The Elegant Courtly Life of the Tea Witch' are already available. Moreover, Omoi's premium members can enjoy 'Vegetable Sandwich' starting September 29.
Omoi (formerly Azuki) launched its services in English-speaking regions in June 2021, and is available worldwide except Japan. The service offers a 'simulpub' format, providing English versions almost simultaneously with their Japanese release, and features a wide range of manga works. Omoi changed its name following its initial partnership with Kodansha USA.
