A Masterpiece by Digital Craftsmen
It has been officially announced by Digital Craftsmen that Amahara's manga "33-Year-Old Single Lady Knight Captain" will be adapted into an anime. The anime is slated to vividly depict the story of a female knight captain struggling with a harsh working environment and desires. The protagonist, Meiru, and her friends find it difficult to enjoy life amidst their intense work conditions.
Music and Video Promotion
On the official YouTube channel of the anime project, the opening theme "Boogieing Dance Kishi" has been released. This song features vocals by SEKKA and was written and composed by Suzumi. The currently available promotional video offers viewers an early experience of the work's comedic atmosphere.
Background of the Manga and Other Works by the Author
"33-Year-Old Single Lady Knight Captain" began serialization in the online adult manga magazine "Ananga Ranga" in 2015. The manga continues in a non-regular format, with new chapters typically being offered in very short lengths of 1-2 pages.
Amahara is also known for another hit work, "Interspecies Reviewers." This too is a popular sexual comedy that was adapted into a TV anime, although some streaming services chose not to carry it.
