Introduction to "IdolPet Caretaker"

"IdolPet Caretaker" is a raising visual novel game where cats, dogs, and rabbits from an animal shelter transform into human forms and aim to become idols. Set in Japan, players support them in pursuing their dreams.

Game System and Inspiration

Players help the animals form an idol group, nurture their stats, and enjoy rhythm games that influence live performances. Developer Clara Candia drew inspiration from "Uma Musume Pretty Derby" and "K-On!", and the entire game is expressed in a scrapbook-like visual style.

Character and Story Features

The core of the game lies in how the characters, who carry emotional scars from their time as animals, rebuild themselves as humans. Luna the rabbit is timid but progresses in idol activities alongside the energetic puppy Abby and the cat Mikela, strengthening their bonds with each other.

Development and Release Plans

Currently in development, the game is planned for both PC and Android, with Clara Candia and two other team members excelling in their respective fields. A demo version is scheduled for release in early 2027, with the final release aimed for the end of 2027. A Japanese version is also planned, but they are seeking a partner to support localization.
