The allure of the classic manga 'Initial D' lies in its featured vehicles and their detailed depiction. Currently, a pop-up shop at FKD Interpark Store in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, is displaying the real AE86 along with AUTOart's 1/18 scale model.

Rediscovering the Charm of the AE86

The AUTOart '1/18 Scale Toyota Sprinter Trueno (AE86)' model is a special edition created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the series' beginning. This model is based on the 'Project D' specification that appears in the latter half of the manga 'Initial D', and is faithfully reproduced down to the smallest detail using 3D scanning of the actual vehicle. Its notable features include a carbon bonnet, lowered height, and wide 8-spoke wheels.

A Special Display Experience

At this pop-up shop, visitors can closely examine the presence and texture of the 1/18 scale model while also comparing its design to the real AE86. Additionally, the display space offers a wide array of 'Initial D' goods and apparel for the fans.

Event Information and Participation Details

The 'Initial D' pop-up shop is being held at the Interpark location in Utsunomiya until November 1. Models and goods are also available through an online shop, allowing fans from afar to enjoy them.
