Snow Fun at Moominvalley Park
From October 31 to December 25, 2026, "Moominvalley Christmas 2026" will transform the entire park into a winter wonderland. With the theme "snow," visitors can enjoy authentic snow play and sledding amidst snowy landscapes created by artificial snow machines.
In the Moominvalley area, visitors can enjoy a magical scene where the snow meets the autumn leaves. Notably, the lakeside terrace transforms into a "Snow and Light White Terrace," offering a beautiful photo spot with illuminations that shine to music after sunset, welcoming visitors.
Night Show and Special Christmas Story
One of the special attractions of the event is the new Christmas show "Short Story: Moomins' Christmas" at Emma's theater. This show focuses on the popular character "Ancestor," offering a new dimension of Christmas fun.
Additionally, in front of the Moominhouse, the "Moominvalley Luminous Night Show: What is Christmas?" is performed every evening. Accompanied by original songs with music and light, you can enjoy an impressive Christmas night.
Winter-Exclusive Character Greetings and Merchandise
During the event, there will be greetings with Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden in special winter costumes, as well as a winter-clad Hemulen. Event-exclusive Christmas menus and merchandise will also be available, making it a must-visit opportunity for fans.
"Moominvalley Christmas 2026" is one of the most anticipated events held annually, aiming to deliver the magic of Christmas to many people. The entrance fee includes a night pass available after 4 PM for 2,500 yen on the day and 2,300 yen for advanced tickets.
